·My goal this week is to get in contact with Alivio Medical Center to begin my action. They will help me create a more effective action with a drive. The drive will consist of pamphlets and actual testing.
·The challenged I faced was that unfortunately Alivio Medical Center was occupied this week and could not help me with my action. They offered other suggestions but my schedule was occupied as well. Therefore, I did not complete concrete action this week.
·The most important thing that I learned about action is that everything is time consuming. Contacting people is a battle because everyone’s time is at stake. Also, I learned that being realistic with the action one wants to take.
·My next steps are to create a second action that will lead to a similar step that I wanted to take with Alivio. I will be more conscious about how to go around creating my second action and implementing my fire into it.

·My goal this week is to construct a workshop. The workshop will consist of an online test and a presentation presenting my passion for the issue of Diabetes.
·The challenges I faced was getting a group of people to conduct the workshop with and they taking the test. Fortunately, I was able to get my Upward Bound fellows to help me with my action. They were extremely helpful and critical.
·I learned that people are closed minded about learning in general. I also, learned that conducting a workshop is not easy. I admire teachers more than ever today for all their hard work. I did not understand how difficult it is to stand in front of a group and be judged by the plans that were already created for them and the errors are created along the presentation. I learned that practice only makes perfect but one cannot always be perfect were all humans.
·My next steps is to perfect my workshop to b able to continue to present it to different groups of people. Also, I want to continue working on my long term goal non-profit organization to create a more tangible solution for the future.
